Palworld Breeding Chain Calculator

Sometimes no pair you own produces the Pal you want directly. This chain calculator searches the Palworld 1.0 breeding graph for the shortest route — breed an intermediate Pal, use it as a parent, repeat — up to four steps deep, preferring common partners at every step. How the chain search works

Every Pal is a node; two Pals are connected when pairing one of them with any Breeding-Farm-eligible partner produces the other — through the CombiRank formula or one of the 164 special combinations. The calculator runs a breadth-first search over that graph, so the first route it finds is guaranteed to use the fewest eggs. Partners are tried most-common-first, which keeps the suggested intermediates catchable instead of exotic.

Two honest limits: the search is capped at four steps (longer chains are almost never worth the Cake), and some Pals simply cannot be reached by breeding — legendaries like Jetragon must be caught first, after which their breeds-true pair takes over. For a single-step answer, use the palworld reverse breeding lookup instead; for the principles behind chains, read the palworld breeding guide.
